In order for certain devices in the factory to function properly, it is important to ensure the filtration of substances that perform special tasks in them. Without such filters, they would most likely fail after a short time.
When filtering the coolant, you must bear in mind the fact that precipitating e.g. small particles may adversely affect the pH of the coolant, which may worsen its parameters or even lead to the deposition of these particles in critical elements of the device's cooling system. Neglecting coolant filtration can have disastrous consequences - either corrosion inside will lead to the precipitation of oxidation byproducts and clogging of the radiator or cooling pipes receiving heat from the device, or it may even result in coolant leakage due to excessively rapid destruction of flexible elements of the cooling system. In each of these cases, such a failure may result in further failures - even leading to the destruction of the entire device. An important application of nonwoven fabrics is their use in CNC machines. Why? During operation of such a machine tool, oil is required - so that the moving elements have adequate lubrication and there is no overheating/thermal deformation of the processed material at the point of contact. Due to the very dynamic operation of the machine tool, it generates oil mist, which must be caught so that it does not transfer, among others, metal filings. These, if they conduct electricity, may cause a short circuit in the electronic components of the machine tool controller. Conservative estimates indicate that approximately 75% of hydraulic system failures include: in CNC machine tools is caused by progressive damage to the surface due to contamination and corrosion - which results in the exposure of these elements to oil mist, microchips and other by-products of the operation of these devices. Hence, it is so important that devices with specific operating characteristics are properly protected.
